Welcome Message

On behalf of the Cardio-Oncology Working Group of the Egyptian Society of Cardiology, the International Cardio-Oncology Society (ICOS), and the Cardiology Department of 57357 Children’s Cancer Hospital, it is our great honor and privilege to welcome you to the Third Egyptian Cardio-Oncology Conference (ECOC) 2026, taking place on October 22–23, 2026, at the prestigious Steigenberger Hotel, Cairo.

ECOC 2026 represents a defining milestone in our journey. Building on our successful collaboration with the International Cardio-Oncology Society (ICOS) in previous years, we are proud to announce that this conference is the first official scientific activity following the establishment of the ICOS Egypt Chapter. This achievement reflects a significant advancement in our shared vision to strengthen cardio-oncology practice, research, and education in Egypt and the region.

Through this expanded collaboration with ICOS—the world’s leading society dedicated to cardiovascular care in cancer patients—we reaffirm our commitment to aligning with international standards, fostering multidisciplinary integration, and promoting excellence in patient care. This partnership brings together global expertise and regional leadership, enabling a meaningful exchange of knowledge and experience.

ECOC 2026 will convene an exceptional faculty of distinguished international and regional experts, delivering a comprehensive and forward-looking scientific program. The conference will feature state-of-the-art discussions on early detection and structured surveillance of cardiotoxicity, advances in multimodality imaging and biomarkers, management of cardiovascular complications associated with immunotherapy, as well as key developments in pediatric and adolescent cardio-oncology. The program will also highlight evolving strategies in cardioprotection and long-term survivorship care.

More than a scientific meeting, ECOC 2026 is a platform for collaboration, innovation, and progress. It is where ideas converge, partnerships are strengthened, and the future of cardio-oncology in Egypt and beyond continues to take shape.

We look forward to warmly welcoming you to Cairo for two distinguished days of science, dialogue, and international collaboration
